Subject: Jackson - FL fossil freshwater turtles
From the author:
FYI, the first four chapters were all published in scientific journals. Citations should refer to the published papers rather than the dissertation. Although the dissertation used Chysemys as a generic name, following McDowell 1964, sliders are now considered to be Trachemys, and cooters Pseudemys. This is a preferable arrangement.
